I'm Christine -- a museum gal from Los Angeles now in San Francisco. In addition to discovering a new city, usually with my co-adventurer P, I love filling my mind with art, food, fashion, design, books, and places I've never traveled to.

Currently obsessed with French bulldogs, fancy chocolate, perfect summer sandals, and a winter tropical destination. (And I'm always obsessed with Pinterest)

Come one, come all to the San Francisco Pride Parade this Sunday! We’ll be marching in a fabulous Museums with PRIDE contingent alongside our colleagues at YBCA, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, The Exploratorium, and The Walt Disney Family Museum. Give us a big friendly wave when we go by :)

Excited to experience my first PRIDE weekend by marching with some of the most proud people in the area :)
This excites me for the Legion of Honor’s upcoming Man Ray/Lee Miller exhibition.

Man Ray, Surrealist chessboard, 1934, a photomontage integrating portraits of twenty fellow surrealists, including René Magritte, Max Ernst, Salvador Dalí, Giorgio de Chirico, Joan Miró and Man Ray himself.
Paused for a second before eating an artwork, but it didn’t last for long. What a treat to help myself to a Mondrian cake and Blue Bottle latte surrounded by high-rises and sculptures.
I have been seriously considering a destination museums bucket list akin to that of sports fans’ stadiums travel list. A winter London & Paris trip could be the perfect start to have me in town just before the Leonardo show closes…
